GOA clothing is the fashion of the psytrance scene: colorful or deep black, loose-fitting, and made for dancing. What sets it apart from other festival fashion are three things - psychedelic patterns, functional details, and cuts that can withstand twelve hours of movement.

GOA Pants: the centerpiece

GOA pants are the most important item in the wardrobe. Technically, they are closely related to harem pants: a loose cut, a low crotch, and an elastic waistband. The difference lies in the design - while harem pants are simple or feature ethnic-inspired patterns, GOA pants use mandalas, spirals, dotwork, and hand-painted psychedelic prints.

What you should look for:

1. Zipped pockets: indispensable at a festival. That is why we usually equip the side pockets with zippers.
2. Natural fibers: cotton and hemp breathe, polyester does not. When dancing for twelve hours, that makes all the difference.
3. Ankle cuffs: keep the fabric out of the way and protect you from mosquitoes in the evening.
4. Durable seams: GOA pants should last a season, not just a weekend.

Mostly unisex

Most of our pieces have a unisex cut - here you will find GOA clothing for women as well as for men. Where the cut differs, it is stated on the product page. We carry S/M, L/XL and XXL.

Put together your GOA outfit

The rule of thumb: let one piece carry the pattern while the rest stays understated. If the pants and top are both loud at the same time, the look appears busy rather than striking.

A combination that always works: patterned GOA pants, paired with a simple shirt, a hoodie, or a poncho for the hours before sunrise, plus a zipped belt bag for your phone, cash, and ticket.

Psytrance or GOA?

In everyday use, the terms mean the same thing. “Psytrance clothing” tends to suggest darker, more technical designs, while “GOA clothing” suggests color and Indian influence. The boundary is fluid - you will find both here.

We design every piece ourselves and produce them together with trusted family-run workshops in northern Thailand and Nepal. Everyone involved is paid fairly - a scene that stands for community and consideration is not compatible with disposable fashion from exploitative factories.
