Harem Pants – Handmade in a Medium-Sized Business

Phi Um and his aunt run a fairly large family business in northern Thailand. Their company specializes in screen printing and digital printing and also has a smaller dye-finishing and decoration facility.

We chose to partner with Phi Um for several reasons that we thought we should share with you, so you can understand why it is so important to know where your clothes come from.

Although Phi Um and his aunt run a larger business than our other partners, their company is still based on the same family values that we are proud of.

Keep it real
Phi Um refuses to work with anything other than natural fabrics such as cotton, linen, hemp, and bamboo. That is why we were so excited to work with him when we began our partnership.

Precision

It was clear from the beginning that Phi Um takes delivery seriously and that everyone at the company is working toward the shared goal of producing high-quality clothing. Great care is taken to create as little waste as possible.

Once we have submitted our designs for production, the patterns are uploaded digitally to ensure that not a drop or a thread is lost during the production process.

The results have been so successful that we have even invested in new sewing machines for his company to ensure first-class sewing quality.

Certified dyeing process

At first, we were hesitant to create designs with ink and color because we wanted to make natural and environmentally friendly clothing. But as we grew and worked with more talented artists, we wanted to incorporate them into our creations to show you the talent and art that are here.

At Phi Um, all dyeing standards are regularly reviewed, tested, and certified. Only AZO-free dyes from Germany are used, and the dyeing facility also has a water treatment plant.

We also screen some of our artwork for prints and digital prints on our clothing with Phi Um, who provides a first-class environment for vibrant and colorful creations that we are proud of for their long-lasting appearance and individual designs.

Phi Um is another partner we are happy to call a friend. We often visit the company to discuss ideas and exchange knowledge about our areas of expertise. As a result, we have learned a great deal from each other and can see this friendship growing, just like our business, especially since we both care deeply about quality.
